In celebration of Black History month, McDonald’s New York Tri-State Owner/Operators are the official sponsors of the month long McDonald’s Salutes the Faces of Black History Tour. This year marks the 13th year that this great Black History program has been touring the entire NY Metro Tri-State Area schools, churches, community centers and beyond. This program is free to schools courtesy of the generosity of the NY Tri-State McDonald’s Owner/Operators.
The Faces of Black History show acknowledges the contributions of African Americans to America from slavery to the present. This live musical show salutes many well-known celebrities, personalities and history makers in an entertaining and educational format for all ages. From Negro Spirituals to today’s music and everything in between, this talented four member cast takes the audience on a high energy excursion through African American Culture.
Every year during Black History month this tour reaches well over 40,000 students. This program helps the Golden Arches keep shining bright in our communities and continues to prove that McDonald’s is truly deeply rooted in the community.
