On July 30th, the McDonald’s team participated in Junta Hispana, which was held at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Typically attracting around 50,000 attendees, Junta Hispana is a Hispanic Heritage Celebration that encompasses all twenty Spanish-speaking countries at one event.
McDonald’s also participated in the Dominican Day Parade, an annual event that kicked off at Tremont Avenue and made its way to 167th Street in the Bronx. About 9,000 people marched with about 40 floats. The parade is a celebration of Dominican pride and culture.
