Ronald McDonald House Charities and its network of local chapters offer a number of scholarships to a diverse group of high school students. Since inception in 1985, the RMHC system has awarded over $37 million to high school students from across the country. Applications for the 2014-2015 scholarship season have ended.  Please check back in Fall of 2015 for application details.

RMHC Scholars

If you’re under the age of 21 with at least a 2.7 GPA and demonstrated financial need, the RMHC Scholars scholarship is a great fit! It honors your scholastic, community and work performance and is open to all students, regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin. Scholarship availability and amount vary by participating chapter.

 

RMHC/HACER

With similar requirements as the RHMC Scholars Program, RMHC/HACER scholarships are for applicants that have at least one parent of Hispanic heritage. You must submit a personal statement about your cultural background, career goals, community commitment and any other unique circumstances.

In addition to the RMHC/HACER scholarships offered through local RMHC chapters, Ronald McDonald House Charities, with generous funding from McDonald’s, also offers four (4) national RMHC/HACER scholarships. The national scholarships are $100,000 awards payable over four (4) years in an amount of $25,000 per year and are for use in undergraduate education only. Eligible students may apply for this national scholarship regardless of a local RMHC Chapter participation in the scholarship program.

 

RMHC/African American Future Achievers

With similar requirements as the RHMC Scholars Program, RMHC African American Future Achievers scholarships are for applicants that have at least one parent of African American or Black Caribbean heritage. You must submit a personal statement about your cultural background, career goals, community commitment and any other unique circumstances.

 

RMHC/ASIA

With similar requirements as the RHMC Scholars Program, RMHC Asia scholarships are for applicants that have at least one parent of Asian or Pacific Islander heritage. You must submit a personal statement about your cultural background, career goals, community commitment and any other unique circumstances.
